Stay home for a great cause. This event was social distancing before social distancing was cool. Rather than spending your money on a fancy dress, nice shoes, rubber chicken, and a babysitter, you can stay home, eat whatever you’d like, pop in your favorite DVD, and get to bed at a reasonable hour. And every cent of your donation will go to make sure that needy kids in Norwich will have a warm winter coat next winter.

About Us

Transforming Communities: Rotary's Global Leadership in Humanitarian Service, Ethical Excellence, and Peacebuilding Across Cultures Worldwide.

Rotary, a global network of 1.2 million leaders, is dedicated to humanitarian service, ethical standards, and peace. Our nonpolitical, nonreligious clubs, open to all, embody ‘Service Above Self.’ Join us in building a better world through community, workplace, and worldwide service.

Primary Club Projects

Dictionary Project

Annually, our club embarks on the Dictionary Project, distributing 400 dictionaries to third graders in Norwich schools. This initiative not only provides essential learning tools but also fosters a lifelong love for education and literacy, empowering young minds to explore the world of knowledge.

Coat Project

Our commitment to community well-being shines through the Coat Project, an annual effort that sees the distribution of 800 new winter coats to children in the greater Norwich area. This initiative aims to ensure that every child faces winter with comfort, warmth, and a sense of security.

Scholarships

In our dedication to shaping the future, we annually award 4-5 scholarships to deserving high school students in the Norwich area. By investing in their education, we empower these students to pursue their academic goals, fostering a culture of achievement and opportunity in our community.
