Ray stepped in for Jim Konrad last minute and had some examples of “Lexophilia.” Being a “Lexophile” is a lover of words, especially in word games, puzzles, anagrams, etc. Some of the fun ones Ray shared were the following:
-When fish are in schools, they sometimes take debate!
-A thief who stole a calendar got twelve months!
-When the smog lifts in Los Angeles U.C.L.A.
-A will is a dead giveaway!
-Those that gets too big for their pants will be exposed in the end!
OK, you get the idea!

Rodney Green told a very troubling story of how he and Lucille went to the Department of Motor Vehicles to try to register the car she had just purchased and not having much success due to the DMV’s total incompetence with the paperwork. It was not a good experience for all concerned and is still not solved.
Gary Young said he would say a prayer for Rodney that his problem with the DMV will get straightened out soon. Gary also told a story of a friend of a friend who needed a place to stay with his dog since he got kicked out of the campground he was staying at because of the power outage. Gary took mercy on him and let the guy and his dog stay on his garage apartment. The man asked what he owed Gary and the gentleman Gary is he said he would not accept payment for the lodging, however if he wanted to donate to the Rotary Golf Tournament he would accept that. The man gave Gary $140.00 in cash for the cause!
Susy Hurlbert was happy to have the power and internet restored to her office and home. She also gave Rodney kudo’s for the soup at today’s meeting! Susy is also taking a vacation to Lake Sunapee with her husband and dog!
Bill Champagne is happy with his new lawn mower and suggested that anybody who wanted an EGO lawn mower to go to Ace Home Center as they now sell them. He was also glad he never lost power.
Mike Cooney was happy he didn’t lose power last week during the storm and his daughter Katie is now dancing around the house as a result of recent dance lessons!
Auction: Andy Grant had three nail belts with one of them containing a $20.00 bill. After some confusion on how to auction them off Susy Hurlbert, Bill Champagne and Theresa Madonna won the belts and Susy Hurlbert got the one with $20.00!
