— Next week is the scholastic recognition (CAPSS) luncheon at the Holiday Inn.
— The coat drive preparation and sorting will be on the fly. It is dependent on when we receive the coats. Watch for a notice from Mike via Doodle (that is a thing).
— The thank you cards from students who received dictionaries were sweet and sometimes funny. Mike shared a few of them with us.
— Madonna Place trivia is Friday at the Bozrah Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5, the fun starts at 6.
— Liberty Bank Turkey Drive is ongoing.
— The Arc of Eastern Connecticut will be installed as a corporate member next week.

— Rodney says we are paying $1 more per coat because of US tariffs, an extra $600.
— Andy Grant and Gary Young beat a team young than they in a doubles tennis.
— Gary Young visited Joel Etra as he recovered from recent surgery, and shared a poem that we will not repeat.
— Susy Hurlbert went to a Realtor conference in San Francisco with her son and had a great time. She is also thankful for Rotary connections for business and the ECAR raffle (tickets available to us soon).
— Mike Gordon says that No. 1 Kentucky men’s basketball lost to Evansville, where his son teaches (and he traveled to Lexington for the game!).
— Kathleen Stauffer talked about the the Arc’s Woodstock recycling facility, which loses $50,000 a year. She also talked about how change in liquor consumption contributes to more littering.
— Barry Shead is happy to be here with Andrea Kaiser and Kathleen.
— Mike Cooney talked about his medical maladies on Tuesday and a trip to the hospital. (He’s fine now).
— Erin GIzio is thankful for the support for her walk. She also says that her husband and daughter have colds – and she doesn’t yet!
— Mike Matera says about five years ago he started seeing liquor nip bottles. And now he may pick up 20 while cleaning up near his property.
