Presiding: President Andrew Nollman
Invocation: Barry Shead
Fellowship: Bob Farwell Due to problems connecting the laptop to the Zoom function Bob was unable to connect with the meeting. Mary Richardson stepped up to the plate and had the idea all in attendance tell “2 things they wished they could do!” Everyone chimed in with such wishes featuring playing piano, playing centerfield for the Yankees, playing guitar, being a pilot, understanding and speaking foreign languages and living in a house on the water with a boat at the dock and great sunsets!

Happy Dollars: Andy Grant
*Andy started things off with a Pickleball “Fumble!” He has 6 kids at the house visiting and it’s been great.
*Nancy Gentes said it was good to be back after some time away on vacation and closing up loose ends at Madonna Place since her recent retirement.
*Rodney Green gave for Lottie Scott for the recent coverage in The Day newspaper on her donation of her personal papers to the UConn Library. Also for Andy Grant for opening up his 4th Ace Hardware store. He had sad dollars on the recent death of his good friend Garfield Rucker.
*Barry Shead had a good breakfast over the weekend at Old Tymes. He was happy to have his daughter visiting from LA and told the story of how her luggage unfortunately did not make the trip to the east coast with her. Ended up in Portland, OR!
*Mary Richardson gave in honor of Nancy Gentes recent retirement and for Andy Grant’s new business opening. Also, happy dollars for Lottie Scott!
*Bill Champagne gave for Lottie Scott and her donation of her personal papers to UConn. He also read a few jokes from a joke book he received as a gift from one of his clients.
*Susy Hurlbert gave to say she was happy to be back after being on vacation. She also said she is now a single woman after a 15 year relationship with Ernie. It was an amiable separation and she’s happy they are still friends. She did however get on a dating app and had a date over the weekend with a retired doctor. Evidently the Doc had a real nice car, but his “yellow teeth” spelled that there will be no second date!
*Gary Young gave for Lottie Scott. He also called attention to his Scottish heritage and some unpleasant dealings with Cosco and BJ’s! Last week he spent the entire week with his two sister-in-law’s and brother-in-law’s in Martha’s Vineyard and Wickford. He’s pooped! He also gave in honor of Garfield Rucker and said Garfield was the coach of the RL&G’s softball team back in the 1970’s.
*Lottie Scott was happy to be back at Rotary and glad it’s back at Bella Fiore. She gave for Garfield Rucker. She also was happy to give her papers to UConn and said they were thrilled to receive them. She said she is happy to be in Rotary but can get ticked off at times. Lottie was also disappointed she did not get a call from the Mayor after her donation to UConn.
Auction: Jay Waitte will make a $20.00 for the Auction.
Lottery: Bill Champagne: Nancy Gentes, Susy Hurlbert & Barry Shead drew cards to no avail!
Program: There was no scheduled program for today.
At 1:00pm Jen Granger led the club members in the 4 Way Test and the meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Bob Reed – RONE Reporter
