The Norwich Rotary meeting for November 20th met at the Beth Jacob Synagogue for a Memorial Tribute, “A Celebration of 100 Years of Life,” to Rotarian Manuel Kadish, MD who died recently at the age of 100 ¾’. The celebration commenced in the Sanctuary with Rabbi Julius Rabinowitz calling on speakers, Martin Shapiro, President of Beth Jacob, Rotarians Stan Lucas and the Rev. Cal Lord, Manny’s children Thomas Kadish and Rebecca Kadish, M.D. and many family members who participated via zoom from across many countries who all gave heartfelt remembrances of Manny. Following the tribute in the Sanctuary attendees joined for fellowship and a luncheon in the Social Hall sponsored by the Kadish family, Beth Jacob, and the Rotary Club of Norwich.
